EIA/TIA-568 StandardIn the EIA/TIA-568 Commercial Building Telecommunication Wiring Standard, two wiring patterns are specified: T568B (Bell 258B) and T568A (EIA/TIA), Other patterns, such as 10BASE-T, USOC, AT&T or DEC, might also meet transmission requirement for Category 6, Category 5, Category 4 and Category 3 installations but are not called out in the 568 Standard.
